Congratulations to the recipients of departmental awards!


Kelsey Panfil received a Neuroscience Research Award presented to an outstanding neuroscience major whose studies emphasized experimental research in neuroscience.

Katie Berger and Nora Balboa shared Experimental Psychology Award whose studies have emphasized experimental psychology.

February 2017


We are going to Florida! Nora Balboa will present the results of her team project on individual differences in transitive inference performance at the annual meeting of Comparative Cognition Society.

Kelsey Panfil received DUSCI summer fellowship to continue her work on immediate early gene expression in pigeon hippocampus and nucleus accumbens after relational and associative tasks. Way to go, Kelsey!

Kayla Bell received Anthony C. Westerhoff award given to the outstanding psychology senior with the highest academic performance in a rigorous program of study.


Alexandra Kahtava received Experimental Psychology award given to the outstanding psychology major whose studies emphasize experimental psychology.  


Cody Dressler received Outstanding Junior in Psychology award given to the junior psychology major who has shown exceptional promise for a career in psychology.

Once again, this is the time of the year at which Psychology Department selects awardees in different areas. 

Alisa Pasjer is receiving Experimental Psychology award given to the outstanding psychology major whose studies emphasize experimental psychology.  

Rebecca Share is receiving Outstanding Junior in Psychology award given to the junior psychology major who has shown exceptional promise for a career in psychology. 

David Goodman is receiving Outstanding Junior in Neuroscience award given to junior neuroscience major who has shown exceptional promise for a career in neuroscience or other closely related fields. 

Kristine Micheletti is receiving Research Contribution Special Award given to exceptional cross-disciplinary students (i.e., non-psychology majors) who have made outstanding research contributions in the field of psychology of neuroscience.
